Connect ChatGPT, Claude or Meta AI
You can run VibeAds from an AI assistant: ask how your campaigns are doing, have it draft a campaign for your trade and town, approve the changes VibeAds recommends, and publish. You connect once, from inside the assistant, by signing in to VibeAds.
How connecting works
Connecting starts in the assistant, not in VibeAds. The assistant asks VibeAds for access and opens a VibeAds page where you sign in, check what it may do, and press Allow access. VibeAds cannot start a connection from its side, because the assistant has to hold it. Once connected, the assistant appears in Settings, Connected apps, where you can disconnect it.
When the assistant asks for a server address, give it this one:
https://getvibeads.com/api/mcpChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode.
- Open Plugins in the sidebar, press +, and choose Create custom MCP server. Name it VibeAds, paste the server address as its public endpoint, and create it.
- Open Settings, then Plugins, then VibeAds, and press + next to Connect another account. ChatGPT opens VibeAds: sign in and press Allow access.
- In a new chat, ask ChatGPT about your VibeAds campaigns.
In a work or school workspace, an admin may have to allow developer mode. Open ChatGPT.
Claude
- In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
- Press + Add, then Add custom connector. Name it VibeAds, paste the server address, and press Continue, then Add.
- Press Connect. Claude opens VibeAds: sign in and press Allow access.
- In a chat, turn VibeAds on from the + menu, under Connectors.
Works on every Claude plan; the free plan allows one custom connector. Open Claude.
Meta AI
- In Muse, ask it to create a custom connector for VibeAds, and give it the server address.
- When Muse shows a Connect button, press it. Muse opens VibeAds: sign in and press Allow access.
In Muse, at muse.ai. Open Muse.
What a connected assistant can do
- Read, on any plan: your campaigns, their results and search terms, each campaign's keywords as Google Ads has them, your account health and VibeAds' recommendations.
- Draft a campaign, on Pro and Max: keywords and ads for your trade and service area, saved as a draft you can review in VibeAds. Its landing pages are built when it publishes.
- Make changes you ask for in the chat, on Pro and Max: add negative keywords or keywords, pause a keyword or turn it back on, set a max CPC, change a daily budget, apply a recommendation, or add an ad group after showing it to you. A daily budget can go down by any amount, or up by as much as 20%, in the chat; a max CPC can go up to double, at most $50 a click. A bigger raise gets a link you approve in VibeAds. Every change is listed on the campaign's Optimize tab, where you can undo it. Details in Editing a live campaign.
- Publish a campaign, on Pro and Max, within the limit below. If you have more than one Google Ads account, it asks which one the campaign goes to, and publishes there only.
- Bring in campaigns you already run, on Pro and Max: it lists the campaigns in your Google Ads account and imports the ones you choose (1 credit each). VibeAds' optimizer and reports cover only campaigns in VibeAds. Importing changes nothing in Google Ads.
- Pause a live campaign, and start it again, on Pro and Max. Starting it spends money, so it follows the same limit as publishing: within it, the assistant asks you to confirm the daily budget, and VibeAds emails you when it starts; otherwise you get a link to approve in VibeAds.
It never receives your Google Ads sign-in, your payment details, or your leads' contact details.
Confirming changes
Reading never needs your OK. Before a tool changes something, such as adding a keyword or an ad group, changing a budget, importing a campaign, pausing or publishing, ChatGPT and Claude ask you first: press Confirm or Allow when they do. If you move on without pressing it, the change is not made; ask the assistant to check if you are unsure. Publishing also needs you to confirm the campaign's daily budget in the chat, as described below.
Connecting Google Ads
Publishing needs a Google Ads account connected to VibeAds. If yours isn't connected yet, the assistant gives you a link. It opens in your browser, checks you're signed in to the VibeAds account the assistant uses, and takes you to Google, where you allow VibeAds to manage your Google Ads account. Then go back to the assistant and tell it Google Ads is connected. It can then offer to bring in the campaigns already in your Google Ads account.
The link doesn't sign anyone in, so it does nothing for anyone else who opens it. If your Google login has no Google Ads account yet, the page shows how to create one. Google doesn't allow signing in from some apps' built-in browsers; if the page says so, open the link in Safari or Chrome.
Publishing and your daily limit
An assistant you connected this way can publish a Search campaign whose daily budget is up to $100 a day, unless you set another limit. Before publishing, it tells you the campaign's daily budget and waits for you to confirm it in the chat. At most two campaigns in 24 hours are published this way.
A campaign over your limit is not published from the chat. The assistant gives you a link to approve it in VibeAds instead, and the page where you can raise your limit: raise it, then ask the assistant to publish again. Display and Meta campaigns are always approved in VibeAds.
Change the limit, or turn publishing from assistants off, any time in Settings, Connected apps. The limit applies to every assistant you connect by signing in.
Emails you get
- When an assistant is connected to your account, with what it may publish and a link to disconnect it.
- When a campaign an assistant published finishes publishing: live with its daily budget, published but paused (and why), or not published.
If you get a connection email you don't expect, disconnect that app right away.
Disconnecting
Open Settings, Connected apps and press Disconnect. The assistant is signed out at once and has to ask you again to come back. Campaigns it published keep running until you pause them.
Using an API key instead
Claude Desktop, Cursor and other MCP clients that run on your computer connect with a VibeAds API key instead of signing in; see the MCP server page. A key can read and draft, but every campaign it publishes needs your approval in VibeAds.
