Quick answer for window and door companies
A local installer where the owner or a small team runs estimates is the best fit for VibeAds: separate replacement and repair campaigns, a negative list that blocks blinds, curtains, retail window shoppers and Microsoft Windows searches, call tracking with AI scoring, and Jobber lead sync, from $20/month. Local Services Ads list window repair services, so repair work has a pay-per-lead option. Companies with an in-home sales team and a large budget often do better with an agency or Performance Max fed with offline sales data, since each sale is worth a lot and the sales cycle is long.

A note on our data
Our window and door keyword pull picked up a lot of garage door searches: about 73% of head-term volume. Garage doors are a separate trade with their own verification rules, so the table below uses window terms only, and we do not quote city-wide medians for this category.
Window searches by intent
| Keyword | Cities priced | Median low bid | Median high bid | Intent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| replacement windows near me | 5 | $26.75 | $138.53 | Replacement, nearby |
| window replacement | 50 | $22.15 | $80.53 | Replacement |
| window replacement companies | 6 | $14.98 | $70.13 | Choosing a company |
| window installation | 11 | $12.84 | $60.31 | New or replacement install |
| windows replacement windows | 12 | $11.78 | $49.53 | Replacement, researching |
| window repair near me | 22 | $6.29 | $20.37 | Repair, nearby |
| window repair | 25 | $4.86 | $15.16 | Repair |
| window screen replacement | 39 | $0.28 | $4.92 | Mostly DIY screens |
Bid figures are Google Keyword Planner top-of-page bid estimates pulled for 50 US cities in September 2026. They are what advertisers bid to reach the top of the page, not what a click costs you; your real cost per click is usually lower and moves with Quality Score.
Replacement is where the money and the competition are: "window replacement" was priced in all 50 cities at a median of $22.15 to $80.53. Repair ran far lower ($15.16 high bid), and "window screen replacement" ($4.92) is mostly people buying a screen kit.
City spread for "window replacement"
| City | Low bid | High bid | Monthly searches |
|---|---|---|---|
| Albuquerque | $31.00 | $297.70 | 140 |
| Virginia Beach | $27.42 | $197.55 | 70 |
| Washington, DC | $22.56 | $171.82 | 140 |
| Long Beach | $6.58 | $31.30 | 50 |
| Los Angeles | $5.87 | $27.70 | 1,900 |
| New Orleans | $12.67 | $26.59 | 70 |
Los Angeles had far more searches than any other city in this table and some of the lowest bids. City pages: Dallas, Phoenix, Tucson, Tulsa.
Negatives
| Group | From VibeAds' window and door list |
|---|---|
| Retail buyers | buy windows, buy doors, windows for sale, doors for sale, window prices, door prices |
| Window coverings | curtains, blinds, window treatments, shades, drapes, shutters |
| Software | windows 11, windows 10, microsoft windows, windows update |
| Jobs | window installer salary, door installer jobs |
Add "garage" as a negative if you do not install garage doors; Google will otherwise match some of your door keywords to garage door searches.
Consultation pages
Replacement buyers want to know three things before they book: what brands and materials you install, whether you offer financing, and how long the job takes. Put those on the page with real installs from your area, and offer a free in-home or virtual estimate. Track booked consultations as the main conversion. VibeAds builds a page per ad group (landing pages video), and on Max can send paid Jobber invoices back to Google so bidding learns which campaigns produce sold jobs (Jobber video).
Season
Our planner's curve for windows and doors runs about 20% above average in April and May, rises again in September and October, and dips around the holidays.
What VibeAds lacks for window companies
- No connection to in-home sales CRMs such as LeadPerfection or Salesforce; Jobber is the only one.
- No financing integrations or appointment-setting.
- No Meta, LSA or TV and direct mail coordination.
- Reviews campaigns twice a day; on Max, only small bid changes and wasted-search blocks run without approval, after the first 7 days.
Why are window replacement clicks so expensive?
Because a replacement job is a large sale and many companies compete for the same searches. In our data the middle city's high-end bid for "window replacement" was $80.53. Tight geography, strong negatives and tracking that tells Google which leads became sales are the main ways to keep cost in line.
Should window companies run Local Services Ads?
For repair work, yes, where available: Google lists window repair services. Replacement-focused companies should check whether their work fits the category in their area before relying on it.
